Debriefing the murder of Barbara Kentner and planning action against racism

November 5, 2020 – 7pm Eastern

RiVAL: The ReImagining Value Action Lab is hosting a free and open online public meeting to discuss the trial of Brayden Bushby in the death of Barbara Kentner, an Indigenous woman from Wabigoon Lake who was killed in January 2017 when struck by a trailer hitch while out walking in Thunder Bay.

We will create a welcoming space to learn more about what happened at the trial and to provide space to discuss our feelings or thoughts about it and the struggle against racism in Thunder Bay. We hope to contribute to the ongoing conversation about taking action against racism and standing against these acts of violence. Speakers include:
Ma-Nee Chacaby
Savanna Boucher
Cassie Thornton
Dave Cryderman
